Knitting?! Yeah right!!!

Gotten any knitting done lately?! YEAH RIGHT!!!!!
This is a blog ALL ABOUT KNITTING!!!???I am a liar huh?
I haven't done anything knitting related in WAY TOO LONG!!!!
I have been soo busy as my post below explains that I haven't had
any time and when I think about it we are already in the car driving away!!!!
I haven't even had time to blog!!!!!!
Plus NONE of my posts have been about knitting anyway!!!

Event After Event

Guys I am so sorry that I haven't updated in a while! I have been sooo busy!
Some of you know of my many events of these past weeks but for those of you
who don't lets just say I've been doing everything!
I was babysitting and I went to Lake Compounce and I am babysitting again tomorrow!
Cinderella is over and we are filming for Bernadette Thursday!
Plus my Mom's birthday is coming up so we are planning a dinner with some of our friends!
Like I said I've been doing EVERYTHING!!!
Eventful but crazy is my life and I wouldn't trade it for the world!!!!
It is so FUN and I have the best friends!!! :)

Hey guys!
Sorry I haven't posted anything knitting related in a while!
American Idol was in possesion of my blog! :)
Well I just want to give a quick update and let everyone know
I am now working on a sweater jacket thing for me! It is soo cute!
I cannot wait for it to be finished! :)
And I am continuing to work on my readers wrap!

Can't wait for tonight! Mostly because Danny is coming back!

Idol Disaster!

I would like to state that if the judges didn't tell Danny to watch other peoples performances and be more like them he would have done FINE tonight!
Of course the judges HAD to say something!
I am sooo upset and hope that Danny does NOT go home!
Kateri, you have to admit he deserves to stay! Just watch all of his other performances!
I want to let you all know I will be praying as hard as I can tomorrow! LOL
If he goes home I will die I am too young to die!

Hi Guys here is what I thought of yesterdays performances!
Oh and sorry I didn't have one last week I was very busy!

Adam: Good

Allison: I didn't like her!

Anoop: I didn't like that much!

Danny: I thought it was one of his best! I LOVE him! :)

Kris: I didn't like him either!

Lil: No no no!

Matt: Better than some of the others but not his best performance


Bottom three: I think will be Lil, Anoop and Matt or Kris!

Socks!

Today is my Papa's birthday!
So yesterday we all had dinner together!
I gave him the socks I made for him! He LOVED them!
I have pictures of them coming and will post them as soon as I can! :)

Danny Gokey

I just wanted to let
you know that Danny Gokey's
Grandfather passed away and
over last weekend and he flew to Wisconsin
to attend services! I am happy as I'm sure
you all are that he still got to perform tonight!
I'm sure his Grandfather was smiling at his
SPECTACULAR performance!!!!!!!!
I just thought you would like to know and please keep him
and his family in your prayers

New Patterns

Hello,
Today my Mom and I made up a pattern for an ipod holder.
It is going to be for my friend Miss June. She said needed one
so her ear piece wire didn't keep getting tangled in her purse.
I came up with the idea of how it would look and my Mom
knew what we would have to do to make it work.
I will keep you posted on how it turns out! :)
( Since this is the first pattern I have ever come up with! )

Projects: Finished and in the Works

My Knitting history consists of two Harry Potter scarves and the socks mentioned below. In the works I have a Reader's Wrap for my Mom who has made me two pairs of socks and is currently making me a Hufflepuff sweater.
Over this past Knit Spin and Spa as mentioned above I decided I needed a new project since I finished my socks! I decided it had to be for my Mom since she has made me so much all ready. We went into the mercantile the next day and she bought me the yarn she wanted and the pattern. She said 'If you provide the labor I will provide the materials!' LOL
It is now twenty-eight inches and getting longer by the day! It will be about sixty inches when completed. She is soo excited and if I say so myself it is gorgeous! LOL

Welcome Knitters!

I am a twelve year old girl from Connecticut,
When I was eight I learned to knit.
As you may know in Maine they have a Knit Spin and Spa every year! It is soo much fun! We normally go as a family but I do tend to hang out with one of my ten year old friends who's a knitter as well! This past Knit Spin and Spa I finished my first ever pair of socks! They took me forever I think I bought the yarn the first year we went! LOL and since it's been three years I think it's taken some time!
My friend just finished her first sweater! It's Beautiful! Anyway, they always have a fashion show and Emma and I always go together! We were introduced as the next generation of knitters! I think my face turned three different shades of red at that moment because everyone erupted in very LOUD cheers! It was soo embarrassing!
But it is soo fun, and I can't wait to go back!
